got an estimate for a new X2 - with all the basics and the bigger motor (350)... feel like the dealer is being a little tight...this is basically to those that have a mastercraft - is 50 out the door - reasonable or even comparable to what anyone else has seen

ballast? perfect pass? warranty? board racks? (they're standard, right?) stereo system w/ tower speakers? heater and hot shower?

If loaded - yes, if stripped - no.

When I was looking at a leftover X2 last year, PP, stereo, ballast, covers not standard.... That may have changed.

Something I did and I highly recommend you do yourself. Find a few people that have an X2 and e-mail them, finding out of they are willing to give you some insight. I find that most people are more willing to talk numbers outside of the message board. No so much pushing exact numbers, but just a feel for what is a good deal.

There are a few people on WW that have purchased an X2 in CA this past year. See if they would be willing to talk with you.

Anyway, happy shopping. I looked for what seems like 2 years and actually miss it.

E.J.

thanks for the response boys... and Alan.. the point of posting this message was not to show my lack of knowledge of the "ins and outs" of the boat and its price, but to utilize the message board for its intended purpose, and contact as many people as possible to further build my knowledge... but thanks for your concern....

E.J. it seems that all dealers have an idea of what is standard and what is not.On the MC website it says some things are not standard that Ski World USA considers to be standard so. kind of does not matter though and fruit cake is right.
