He doesn't **** around

andy_nintzel 03-21-2012 7:24 PM

good lord. Can this kid be stopped. AMAZING. my god- they need to have a real camera on him ever second he is riding.

Hard to tell but I have a feeling the no vest police will be all over this.

TheHebrewHammer 03-21-2012 7:43 PM

He's just getting started. How old is this kid now, 18? No knee injuries? Just 3 years on the pro tour? Imagine what he'll be like in his prime at 25-ish.

That dude is unreal! Anyone else notice the boat driver giving him a little help with the wake on each of those spins?

Ninztel-- When were you in CA, and why didn't you hit me up?

andy_nintzel 03-21-2012 8:24 PM

Brandon I was crazy south. In Palm Spring the in-laws bought a crib there. Sorry Bro. I am going back in May. I rode Desert WAKE AWESOME!!!!! In May I will be in LA for 5 days 1 day is for a wedding and the 5 days in Palm Springs! I am planning a Shasta Trip in August as well!

durty_curt 03-21-2012 11:22 PM

WTF?! i noticed in every 1080 attempt he did and landed in the video, the driver turns to his landing side! i know kinda why and what it helps do but... huh

captain_vilfo 03-22-2012 4:54 AM

i dont think it diminishes the 1080s.. I mean its not like hes pre-spinning off the wake

wakebrdjay 03-22-2012 5:20 AM

I've heard Travis Moye say in an interview that he does this all the time, that's what makes him the worlds best wake tow driver. He said he also bumps the speed slightly up or down when needed.

Was told the same thing & He refuses to use perfect pass, zero off etc no matter what level of rider including all his pro tournaments.

Who wants to help me stop my brain from leaking out my ears after that video.

VinnyA 03-22-2012 6:52 AM

Travis told me the same thing. No perfect pass or zero off ever. I was bs-ing with him about and told him I feel the same way, on my boat even though we have perfect pass, I dont believe in it and dont use it, its really only there for my wife. No Perfect Pass, just Perfect wrist!

Pimp

bbr 03-22-2012 2:13 PM

Been with Travis many times and he refuses to use any kind of driver aid. All man baby.

When you turn like that, the wake steepens up a lot and helps send the rider straight up....like Harley.

Ninztel- when your back in CA, you'll have to come hit up our compound. Best place no ones ever heard about.

sippi 03-23-2012 8:28 AM

We call it a dumper when you turn to the landing side slightly making the wake you hit steeper and taller. Its what helps us land a lot of new tricks.
