I saw a video of Christie skating and tried it this weekend. I love it, but I don't think I'll ever be able to do the tricks on it...I was never into skateboarding and it is so similar. I just do it for fun!!! If you are checking out any professionals, try Savannah Barber, the first and only pro woman wakeskater (I've met her and seen her ride, it's sick).. of course she's like 15 or something. If you are into older girls, I know I ride and a couple of my friends. Of course, any boy who got game would be out there meeting us hot chicks versus posting on a message board ;)

i dont know where you live mikael, but there are plenty of girls that wakeskate (and wakeboard) out here in california. in fact, i dont remember the last time there wasnt a girl on the boat. sure they may have a boyfriend/fiance/husband, but its cool to see girls get out there and have fun too.

I went out with my friend who has a skate and tried it and absolutely loved it!! Im turning 18 on october 4th and am gonna ask for one. Ive only been 2 or 3 times i think and can ollie. Its so fun!

I wakeskate and freaken love it!!! Except for the time I managed to fall on it and got a nice scrape up the side of my ribs... guess I should have been wearing a life jacket or rashy! OH well no pain no gain right?

Hell no I hate foam top. I will only ride grip tape. Ive got enough scars so hell whats one more? They each tell a story.

Do you guys wear shoes with your foam top? I've got the Melissa w/ the foam top and have to wear shoes. Feels so much more stable...like riding a skateboard.

I wear shoes. My ankels tend to role easily. Shoes feel way more comfortable. Oh and even though I may ride like one, I am not a female.
