Byerly has always had sick lookin Nautiques. I like the one that is in Boombox the best, but this is a really nice boat.

Correct Craft take note. JUST LOOK HOW NICE YOUR BOATS LOOK WITH COLOR ABOVE THE RAIL!!! Believe it or not, people actually care how nice their boats look, especially when throwing down 60-70k.

Best looking 08 SAN 210 I have seen. I would love to see more of the Byerly custom work on this ride.

looks very nice. loose the ugly fct for the new titan that the're putting on their new boats and it'd be even nicer.

I like the FCT much better tower is so solid, so does Byerly obviously, he was involved with the design of this boat from the ground up. FCT= classic Nautique look.

1) i would LOVE to see more pics. 2) i too like this tower WAY better than the other one. 3) i have a friend that wanted a nautique but ended up with a mastercraft because he wanted it all black. black hull and black above the rub rail. they should take note. i wonder how many buyers they have lost over this.

I thought it was only "junior" riders so to speak that got 210s and the riders that had been around a while got 220/230s from Nautique. It is a sick looking boat, I definitely wouldn't say no if it showed up at my place... (Message edited by jtnz on May 12, 2008)

Jos, I'm sure he got his pick of whatever he wanted plus it almost sounds like their gonna sell these boats.

byerly doesnt really wakeboard too much these days. mostly skates so he probably doesnt need/want the bigger boat that can hold a ton of weight

Looks super similar in styling to the PWT X-star IMO. But nicer!

very nice! one off, or production models to follow? always a fan of that man, he is definitely one of the the big reasons why me and my family ride! his many contributions have made the sport what it is today..

Sounds like it is a wrap and not in the gel. "custom wrap with Byerly skull logo graphics" That would explain the color above the rub rail.

Now that is making good use of a wrap, that is a pretty sweet looking boat.

The color above the rubrail is a gelcoat stripe. The hull and deck side where the Byerly graphics show is part of the wrap that overlays on the black gelcoat.

I'm glad people are liking this boat. One thing I would point out is that there is more than just a wrap going on here. In fact the wrap really just comprises the skull/Byerly logo and the dots that flow back to the stern. The rest of the appointments are manufactured, top quality items that make the boat very, very unique. There's some impressive gelcoat work at play here too, as many have noticed. It is really nice work on the part of Correct Craft and Scott Byerly.

That very first pic... I see some similarities with the all Black Epic... very similar lines other than the blunt nose on the Epic. Nice looking boat.

What is the wedge looking thing?

The wedge looking thing is the Hydrogate. I think it started out on the SV211 and has worked it's way onto all of the models. It serves the purpose of shaping the wake some. I think that when it is in the down position it pushes the stern up some and when it is up, the hull sits down in the water more. At the boat show it seemed to be suprisingly simple, but I am not sure how well it works. Somebody correct me if I am wrong on this one.

Hey Stephen your right about the hydrogate. The ballast tanks are used in increase the size of the wake and the hydrogate does some shaping. In the down position it makes the wake less vertical and more rampy. In the up position it makes it more abrupt or vertical. It has much more affect when the boat is loaded than when under no/light load. We just delivered a new 210 and we plumbed in supplemental bags in the front and back that added an additional 1400 lbs front and back to the factory ballast. The nice thing about the new 210 is you can have the wake mellow and rampy for the smaller kid or woman who is riding....or with the ballast and hydrogate make it big and steep for the teenager where "too big is never big enough". The old 210 has a great/legendary wake for advanced riders...but it is a little tough on some just starting out. One other thing about the hydrogate. One of my customers told me last year when surfing...you can use the gate to clean up the wake when surfing against the rotation of the prop. He really liked the fact that you could get a clean wake on either side by where you manipulated the hydrogate. I have several owners that are now using it to get a better surf wake for both the "goofy and regular" surfer's in the boat. That is a nice plus about the hydrogate that CC didn't even know until I pointed it out to them.

Is the hydrogate either all the way up or all the way down? It doesn't move much, so I would think if it were half way engaged, it wouldn't make much difference.

When wakeboarding I use it either all the way up or all the way down. Your right...half way for wakeboarding has little affect...especially if you are lightly loaded. When wakesurfing...it could be all the way up or down or only half way depending on which side of the wake you are on...which side of the boat is loaded, boat speed, even the depth of the water affects the wake. I surf on a shallow private ski wake and I find half way down cleans the wake up for me. Also we offer a "team" and "super team" prop this year....that has an affect on these different variables also.
