I am looking at ordering a top from www.towerbiminis.com

has anybody used them?

wakejunky 03-05-2003 9:36 PM

I have one and have seen a number of boats with them. Would have to say they are one of the better biminis I've seen. Non of those ugly flapping straps.

Chris
No Slip Gator Grip
www.wakejunky.com

Also for sale:
http://home.surewest.net/cfoye/96SportNautique/96SportNautique.htm

what price did they quote you for your boat? Do they have good prices?

Nice looking biminis. I just called them to check prices. Solid bimini $700. $50 more for a stripe.

Yea just got my Quote.

Is there a place to get the tower clamps for biminis?

badzuki 03-06-2003 12:24 PM

Me too, just got the quote. To high. $515 for a two strap system.
Interested in the clamps too. I know Boss will sell the clamps seperately. $45 a per clamp. There crazy. Anybody found something cheaper?

salmon_tacos 03-06-2003 12:32 PM

Why are biminis so expensive? Does anyone know?

Some aluminum tube, some canvas, a few clamps, hinges, and straps and you've got $700?

The materials probably cost under $100. Is there $600 of labor in a bimini top?
