I just installed a new Phoenix Gold Xenon X100.4 four channel amplifier, but am having trouble getting it to work correctly.

Here's my problem: whatever two speakers I plug into the right channel outputs make a loud popping noise with a lot of interference, and you can barely hear the music. The two speakers plugged into the left channels sound fine. I thought it might be the speakers, so I swapped them, and the ones that were popping, once plugged into the left channels sounded fine. Also, the ones that sounded fine before, once plugged into the right channels, started popping. So, I know it is something to do with the amp and not the speakers.

Is there anything I can adjust or check to remedy this problem, or did I get a lemon for an amp? Thanks in advance for your help.

Check your source cable for that channel... Anything possibly interfering with it?

My guess if thats not it is bad amp...

Your amp is blown. That just happened to mine last weekend. It only affected the speakers in the boat not the tower speakers. Tower speakers have their own amp so I can add on later.
