After about 3 long summers of shopping and research....I finally pulled the trigger on a boat....Got a leftover '08 fairly loaded, All it's missing is docking lights and drivers seat heater..... Didn't have a bimini on it, but it's ordered....The break in period is a little painful but the lake is still a little chilly up here....

Congrats. Looks really nice.

hatepain 05-03-2009 8:49 AM

Dope! It looks tight and clean, very nice.

05mobiuslsv 05-03-2009 9:03 AM

Nice boat, I'd say it's more than "fairly loaded". You'll never miss the docking lights since you have tower lights anyways. If you really want them you can add them on the wire is already run up to where they go.

westsiderippa 05-03-2009 11:30 AM

i wouldnt call that a left over. i was expecting a purple and yellow boat with orange stripes, lol. that thing is money brotha. congrats. those are the only 2 options i dont have also, i think you will be ok. nice colors very clean boat.

loonytik 05-03-2009 12:25 PM

guido 05-03-2009 2:29 PM

Sick.. Clean ride. Congrats.

chqwakeboarder 05-03-2009 3:44 PM

Beautiful ride man

bbr 05-03-2009 9:42 PM

You'll love the boat brotha!! The wake is just stupid good with a bit of extra weight, and the power wedge (hopefully you have it), and it's still dope without it. Even with all the weight, it handle's like a Porsche on the water. Congrats!!

flaswaliba 05-04-2009 6:05 AM

Beautiful boat!!! I like the mirror. Is the straight from the factory like that? If so or even if not, I've got to get my hands on it, so I don't have to close the walk through windshield on those hot days. Congrats on the purchase. You can't go wrong with a BU!

paulw 05-04-2009 6:56 AM

Sweet looking ride

h2oproaccessories 05-04-2009 6:57 AM

very nice boat. I bet your stoked!

I still cant believe how these boat manufactures are putting regular car speakers down inside the boats..... seems crazy to me.

05mobiuslsv 05-04-2009 7:09 AM

They changed it in 2009 to a fully rated marine grade speaker http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.asp?cat_id=18&series_id=192&am p;family_id=194&item_id=111818&locale=en_U S&p_status=

h2oproaccessories 05-04-2009 7:12 AM

ndavis03 05-04-2009 8:22 AM

Sick boat. Congrats.

malibudude 05-04-2009 10:27 AM

Nice ride dude, the color combo is sweet!

FYI you can upgrade to Malview if you want.

mike3500 05-04-2009 10:35 AM

Rock n' roll. That's a great lookin' boat.

wayz 05-04-2009 3:10 PM

sweet ride, very clean. I always liked the bu's.

koop 05-05-2009 6:53 PM

Matt... Boat came with the mirror...I'm guessing it's stock? Yes I'm very stoked, been back and forth on purchasing a boat for a couple years now....finally just said enough is enough and pulled the trigger.....To get a leftover with the colour scheme I would have selected and every option I wanted at a smok`n price I couldn`t pass it up!

westsidarider 05-06-2009 9:49 AM

Thats a VLX isnt it? I thought the VTX was the direct drive.

whoanellie 05-06-2009 10:03 AM

VLX is 21'6"
VTX is 20'

Both are v-drives

koop 05-06-2009 7:05 PM

Malibudude.... didn't know upgrading to maliview was an option....I heard about it being thrown in at no charge (Boat show specials, I think, on '09s)....Any idea on cost of this upgrade?

malibudude 05-06-2009 9:53 PM

It'll run ~$1,200 or so. You'll need to work w/ your local dealer to setup it up. Believe me it's worth every penny!

sulmaxwell 05-07-2009 7:41 PM

nice ride! drop me a line if you need a 3rd...I have a pretty open sched...&
live in Lake Country...and am in Penticton all the time!
nice colors too! which dealer is it from?

burbanized 05-07-2009 7:49 PM

Looks great CONGRATS

koop 05-07-2009 8:52 PM

Sulmaxwell....Got her from RiverCity marine in Kamloops....Little far but well worth it for the savings.

trentj6930 05-07-2009 9:09 PM

Nice boat Chad!! I have an 07 VTX and have no regrets with it at all. We are heading out to Mabel in August if you want to make a little road trip and we can line them up for a few nice pics and a cold "beverage" or two!!!!!!

sulmaxwell 05-08-2009 4:21 PM

that's cool, i was in Kamloops yesterday and talked to a guy there..he was super cool...and helpful...I am in the "looking" stages...for an upgrade...my buddy is in the near trigger stage on a 23...just waiting for the timing...
hoping ot get my boat on the water soon!
enjoy the ride!

koop 05-08-2009 6:30 PM

John's the guy I dealt with...I have to agree he was very informative and super cool....The only reason I bought new was because it was a super deal....it crossed the boarder at par last year...Was about 23 grand cheaper than an '09 with the same options (minus maliview).... The 2-3 year "research and looking" was well worth the wait!

koop 05-12-2009 6:33 PM

Trent....When you coming out in august....I work pretty much all august but am off towards the end....I grew up in Sicamous and I'm planning on takin her up to the shwap to take some buddies out.....
