Hey everyone, I was looking through the wakeskating.com forums and I saw this post. It seems to be some kind of winch that pulls wakeskaters. Anyone know anything about it? Heres the link. http://www.wakeskating.com/phorum/read.php?f=1&i=6195&t=4923

I gonna cost about $400/$500. Cheaper than a boat. Perfect for ditch boarding.

What's a winch? And how does it work?

(Message edited by windnwake on September 06, 2003)

Looks like you could find an old riding lawn mower engine and use the throttle and the power take off switch (like a clutch to stop the line when the handle is getting close), and I would put a pulley wheel on the top and bottom of the cable to keep the cable properly seated. Looks like an awesome idea.
