I'm starting to get pretty consistent on my HS front 360's (one wake) but I have also been trying tantrum's lately and I can't land them.

I should mention.. I ride behind a waverunner. (I've only been behind a boat a few times)

Anyway, I'm sure my wake being about 5.64" has something to do with me not being able to land it, but I'm pretty close so I think it is possible.

I think I'm hucking it pretty hard, am I also overrotating? Am I looking over the wrong shoulder?
The handle seems to get ripped out of my hand like I stole it when I hit the water, how can I create less slack in the line?

The video

That's impressive, that really looks pretty close. That's not the typical approach for a tantrum, but looks like its working for you. Maybe try to squat more so you can push even harder at the top? Same with that 3, that may help. When you're coming out of it look for the boat, err pwc, this should set you up for a better landing. Also, if you can, try to extend your legs down to the water for your landing, looks like you land with your knees in kind of tight. It seems like whatever it is you're doing its working for you, stick with it. Good luck, post video when you nail it, and that should be next time out from the looks of it.

try getting a little more speed coming in so you can clear the "wake". Focus on that transition between the cut and the pop. Think about throwing your chest upward.

Looks super close BTW. Major props for workin on that without a big wake.

Man Adam, you are my hero. I never even tried getting inverted riding behind my jetski for the first 3 years of my wakeboarding life. If you could get behind a boat with a wake you would pop that tantrum so easily.

The issue I see with him taking more speed into this is that it will be much harder to time, on a wake so small. I really think that his approach is the best or close to it, in this situation. Behind a boat that tantrum would be old news for you.

Thanks for all the help and words of wisdom. I now have an idea of what I am going to do differently the next time I get to ride. But I just got out of college and it's time to hunt for a job for me, so my riding will be limited.

But... hopefully I can post word of me landing it the next time I go!
