good luck rob hopefully it works it took me about 5 different props to find the right one for my calabria.

Jarrod what did you end up with? I am on my third prop now. Looking for more holeshot when i am loaded up with lots of people and/or ballast.

I ended up with a 1643 13.25x14.25 0.105 cup could use a littler more cup for more bite but this one worked the best buy far out of all of them.

Rob,
I was looking at the same prop. When I spoke with ACME they said the 1645 would be the way to go. When I measured the clearance from the tip of my stock prop to the hull, there wasn't much room...Did you have the 497 as the stock prop? Let me know how it works. Thanks. |
Nor-Calabria.
The stock prop that I had on mine was OJ 13x17. When I measured the tip of the prop to the hull I had a litte over a 1/2 inch. The new prop is 13.125x14.25 Which will get the boat out of the water and plane quicker. But I live in Calgary, Canada . Our elavation is 3000 feet above see level. Jorod Craig is right the 1643 is the way to go but I think there is a little more room for the prop in a Pro V then a Pro V2, but I am unsure. Also the Pro V2 is smaller boat the the Pro V so I think for my application the 1645 Prop is the Key. I hop this helps. I think the cup size is .150 |
