where can i find foam grip???
|
gatorgrip...works awesome. I don't care what anyone says about grip tape....It works great and all. but I'm not interested in getting all scraped up anymore.

Seadek is the company I got mine from... I got the small sheet in the 5mm thickness. The small sheet is a little short and too wide, so I just cut it in half, applied from the ends inward and used the excess to fill the gap in the center.

It works great for going barefoot, but I still tend to wear shoes anyway... just a preference thing I guess. I figured the foam would be better for those in the boat that just want to try out skating.

Here's a link to what I bought.
http://www.seadekstore.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=5

Hope that helps.

kaleb, have you tried grip tape? you should try it before you spend the money on foam. you will see that foam is super sticky and hard to move your feet compared to grip tape. and with grip you can feel the shape of the board much more
|
forsure mitch foam you cant feel the board at all
i dont like the feeling so something in between me and the board
|
i am torn on the issue. The foam boards are really easy on your legs...but the new byerly board is sick, but it also has the roughest griptape in the industry. board sticks well to your feet. \

does any know if this will work....strip the griptape off the deck and replace with a foam top?
|
Absolutely, refer to said reply about four up in this thread. I stripped the grip off both my Integ and Sattelyte,
