Well we are getting out pond deepend, and it got me thinking, why not try wakeboarding on it. So I thought about some more, I would build a small dock to sit on, then tie my rope to the back of a quad. Then just get pulled along. I would toss in a slider and call it good. My pond is about 150 yards long. Any forseeable problems, or any ideas to make it go smoother would be appriciated.

sounds like a good idea to me. I'd do it if I had a pond

sh*t Ive seen guys just go in the ditches on the side of the road, being pulled behind a truck. Your idea seems a lot safer and better.

There's some footage at the end of this video I made a few years ago that you should see. I straped a skylon to a four wheeler to board in my pond. The whole video is crashes then closer to the end is this footage.
Actually the first time two of my daughters got up boarding was behind the lawn tractor in my pond!
http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=7149
