vilpee 05-12-2005 10:16 AM

im looking in http://www.the-house.com and ion is only 89 $

buzz_grande 05-12-2005 10:24 AM

You get what you pay for, IMO. I want much more that $89 worth of bindings (comfort, performance, quality, etc).

Spend a few more bucks if you can, otherwise wait until you can. It will be worth it in the long run.

vilpee 05-12-2005 10:56 AM

thanks for the advice!

you can get a pair of Hyperlite Splits for $110 from www.grizzly-sports.com. it's a better binding than the o'brien with all the quality, comfort, and performance at a value price!

bgriff 05-12-2005 11:38 AM

get the liquid force sphynx they are sick i own a pair and i love them
jjakober 05-12-2005 12:14 PM

HL Split are a better binding the the O'Brien ION, what? I don't think so. The Ion was O'Briens top of the line binding last year and the Split is a Low End, entry level binding for beginners and to be shared by many. The reason he can get the Ions for such a good deal know is that they have know released there new High End bindings so the Ions drop in price not in quality. I have had my Ions for 3 years and I have had no problems with them at all.

Later,
jjakober
