Ive been looking over a year for a nice Sanger v210 in good condition at the right price. This monday I found it. Well here it is 99 sanger, black scorpion motor,280 hours, family owned, stored inside. Immaculate condition not one scratch on the side. Im still debating if I want to take the tower off and get it powdercoated with a dark purple or black? any sugestions? Hope you all enjoy!

Good find! She looks real clean! Myself, I would prolly say black before dk purple on the tower. I had that same tower on my last Sanger. Jeez, I guess patience payed off this time. Another NorCal'er added to the ever growing Sanger family! Congrats!

Nice boat. I'd also go with black or white might look cool too.

Drop about 1500-2000 pounds of ballast in her and you will be loving life.

wake_upppp 10-19-2006 7:25 PM

You can even start out with less than that. That's the beauty of narrow beam boats. Even a thou or so will produce good results, and it only gets bigger if you want to build on it. I'm running about 1100 lbs. not counting people and gear @ about 4 to 4.5 gph fuel consumption @ 23.5 mph. If you ride a little slower, it'll be even bigger. Here's a pic:

That thing is sweet!

... Get rid of that ski pole, before someone dies. .. That is really high.

wake_upppp 10-19-2006 7:43 PM

Robb, I think they have two positions, extended and retracted. If you look close you can see the base is bigger.

99_slaunch 10-19-2006 7:45 PM

I think powdercoat the tower white and remove the ski pole. That is a clean looking ride. ENJOY!!

Thanks for the comments, I noticed how tall the ski pole is myself I thought it was fixed. Anyone know how to lower it?
Any good photoshopers that can photoshop white, black and dark purple.

wake_upppp 10-19-2006 7:59 PM

Nate, it should be the same as Walts, maybe he can shed some light? His is a 2000. I removed the one in my 94 but it was FAR from easy.

99_slaunch 10-19-2006 8:12 PM

My boat had 4 set screws in the mounting cup for the ski pole.

walt 10-19-2006 8:12 PM

To my knowledge my pylon doesn't move.

wake_upppp 10-19-2006 8:18 PM

Huh, maybe not then. Is yours that tall Walt?

walt 10-19-2006 9:05 PM

Nope.

norcalmalibu 10-19-2006 9:23 PM

dam that bitch is low! how do you weight yours, I talked to you a while back about the local san ramon.

san210nut 10-19-2006 9:25 PM

Amestoy?

walt 10-19-2006 9:29 PM

I had 900# in hard weight and two sacks that are around 900 give or take. Sometimes I'll run three sacks but probably not a great idea with five or six people in the boat.

Nate,
Would it be to personal to ask how much you paid for it. My neighbor has that exact boat in DXII and is selling it. I think he has it overpriced and I'm curious as to what you paid for yours. Great boat, congratulations.

chaser 10-20-2006 5:54 AM

Walt, wow that thing is slammed!

denverd1 10-20-2006 6:50 AM

rod, your neighbor's should be a few thou less than nate's. if we had nate's price...

sangerlover 10-20-2006 6:53 AM

Walt is going to get a bad case of bow wash .

norcalmalibu 10-20-2006 10:42 AM

-Rod, I just sent you an email

Im going to get some pics from the water today, I will be out of orwood this afternoon. If anyone is going out keep a look out and say hi.

guido 10-20-2006 11:03 AM

Walt's boat is proper. I love that pic. I remember the good old days with my Sanger when my swim step would be 5-6 inches under water. Really funny watching people try to jump off with their boards strapped on.

walt 10-20-2006 11:54 AM

JTW,
Yes that could happen but I ran it two to three days a week all summer without a problem.

I took a few while wake surfing though.

Nice boat, I picked up a 2000 V210, identical colors, last winter. I've got a black tower, which I do like compared to the purple (although I wouldn't complain either way). Anyways, great boat, you'll love it!

norcalmalibu 10-21-2006 9:07 AM

well took out the boat yeasturday ran perfect, loved the wake even empty. Only down part was I had to tow in two different people, one a drunk couple on a jet ski that didn't understand why it ran out of gas yet they let there kids ride it all day.... the second was the "hot boat forum" guys posted up at ski beach having a bon fire I stopped by to say hi, saw some friends then a boat took off and we decided to jet before it got any darker and he broke down at the end of twin sloughs had to tow him back to disco! At least I know it can tow other boats well..

tomcalabria 10-21-2006 12:21 PM

The seller must have been a Sacramento Kings Fan. Go Kings!!

dedicatedwse 10-21-2006 12:53 PM

Nate - Ironically I am looking at almost the same boat...see my post below. I'd also be interested in knowing what you paid so I could get a feel at how this one is priced.

http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/382000.html?1161459424
