Wow. I am thinking I could get a MOTORCYCLE that would smoke that damn thing and a boat for that price and NOT look like a dork.

I saw this bike at a trade show in Germany (Elektronica) last February. Its very impressive, and a beautiful piece of art. The one thing about this bike I recall is that it has a throttle and in the US cant technically be called an electric bicycle? I just started handling a company called TQ Group out of germany and the developed this http://www.tq-group.com/en/products/...kes/extb/Main/. Whats great about this is it stores energy as you peddle and comes with some sweet modes. Like Segway modes for wheelies. Audi sponsored the first bike. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UA0bN_G90bc

J-Rod for the win!

psudy 07-30-2013 1:03 PM

Yeah but does it have wheely mode!!! lol.

jarrod 07-30-2013 1:10 PM

It has traction control, ABS, and 190 horsepower. :-)

The BMW 1000RR has wheelie control.

Michael 07-30-2013 1:35 PM

I think the wheelie mode would be so much fun... Im gonna ride it in a few months, hopefully I don't break a $20k bicycle.lol

psudy 07-30-2013 1:40 PM

I was joking. My wheelie mode was my clutch.

Michael 07-30-2013 1:46 PM

Oh understand it was a joke, but being able to cruise around in a wheel indefinitely on an electric bike would be entertaining.

Jrod- Death trap

For 80k it better be good in bed too, because if I spent 80k on a bicycle my wife would definitely divorce me!

Ducati might want to look into racing electric bicycles considering how well that Panigale has faired on the track.;)

Totally. It had a rough first year. Everyone said it was hard to ride.

Sorry for the hijack.
