caskimmer 07-21-2009 9:51 PM

Have you ever loaded up the other side James?

jdjjamesz 07-21-2009 10:28 PM

No, but im about to, just got another enzo sac for the other side see whats happens. It would be sick if it was same wave on the that side.I heard my boat wont make a good left, but going to try anyways.

bac 07-22-2009 7:26 AM

A couple things, can't talk about them though, David will get upset.

I have been wondering though,
Anyone have any tips for making bigger waves in really shallow water? Like less than 8 feet? I wanna get our wake bigger at one of our spots

caskimmer 07-22-2009 7:30 AM

^a forum where your allowed to freely talk about stuff related to wakesurfing?

jame04 07-22-2009 9:10 AM

360.... can do them with the rope all day long just not with out. I have gotten around but fade back off the wave!!!

malibu 07-22-2009 12:03 PM

Me too Edgar! I came very close on several attempts a couple of weeks ago. When I came around I was able to reach for the boat but I need to start pumping into the wave sooner, because I slipped out the back. None of my attempts since then have been as good but I plan to keep tying till I nail it. 360's do lead to some great facial expressions though. Yesterday when I was 1/2 way around I stood up rather than staying low like I usually do.

Working on coaching others on "getting certified"

i.e. shotgunning a coors light while surfing w/o rope

Nationals registration and planning. The board I started this spring is still on the rack. Dang Fiber Glass Supply, I ordered more resin on the 6th, it's still not here

Foamez is really pricey, but I get everything I order within a week they are ON IT.

I have become fasicanted with custom auto paint where themes and patterns follow the curves or wrap hood and fenders. I love the checkerboard wrapping the rails and continuing deck to bottom.

jdjjamesz 07-26-2009 12:02 PM

I like the art work, thts a nice board.

07-26-2009 8:37 PM

Thanks DJ, I liked the way this board rode. It weighs 3.75 pounds with fins and traction.

We had fun with this board today...it's fast, needs a little more nose rocker which will slow it down. I had it up to 18.8 mph, James rode it at 20.

bac 07-28-2009 7:52 PM

Thats pretty darn fast!

Love the graphics! Speaking of automotive, maybe a flat black board with some pin striping? Might get a little too hot in the sun though

07-28-2009 8:03 PM

James and I say a Hi-Boy with flat black and a chrome flame - outlined with 1/4" red pin - I LOVED IT! I think that a bag would prevent any issues for a dark board on the boat.

bigshow 07-28-2009 8:33 PM

Dang hippies at Fiber Glass Supply. they put Add F in a can marked 2100 Fast Hardener. Do you know what you get when you mix two parts resin with one part Add F - Slush. At least I can wipe it off the board rather than sand it off.

caskimmer 07-29-2009 5:48 AM

Jeff, did I ever give you guys one of the thicker quilted boardsocks?

07-29-2009 5:53 AM

Hey caskimmer, yes you did - that was a sweet sock. If I'm not mistaken, one of the kids from the last INT contest we hosted, won it. Do you still sell those quilted boardsocks? I think the one you donated was orange.

caskimmer 07-29-2009 6:19 AM

Yeah, I decided to give it another go with Grabbag and am doing the socks in-house and working on some sick new travel bag designs for 2010.

I thought I sent you guys one too. I got some Camo ones and will bring one up when we film.

formfunction 07-29-2009 6:52 AM

Most binders and topcoats for flat paint have uv protectors in them that actually keep the surface very cool so I don't think heat would be much of a issue if your using good materials.
