Slingshot Verdict

Has anyone tried the Slingshot Verdicts?
I want an open toe binding (keep jamming toes in closed toe boots) and already have a slingshot reflex so I figure a Slingshot boot would go well. I also considered the BOB open toe binding but for some reason I like the Verdict plus it's cheaper. It's hard to find any reviews on this binding and there are no shops near me who carry them. If anyone has tried them - are they supportive? Can you get the straps tight enough? I've ridden Liquidforce Vantages but found that I couldn't tighten the straps enough to prevent heel lift.
If you have any other suggestions for open toe bindings that perform at a pro model level please let me know.
Thanks

what is everyone's favourite open toe binding? (for the few of us that still prefer them)

I'm a fan of bindings with straps (and closed toe... i know not what your looking for)
i love the fact that slingshots straps are replaceable, but if someone wanted to they could make any brand's velcro strap boots replaceable by sewing in another metal D ring with the existing strap material...

...anyway...

I have not tried many boots on, especially in real-time wakeboarding scenarios, but i will try to offer suggestions despite.
if possible, try Ronix open toe boots. the feet-belt system that they have on their boots i think works great for heel lift.
OR
CWB boots with the hinge tech seems to work well with holding the heel down too in my past little experience
