Ok before I get bashed for this, I'm going to say I love the Company Severance. BUT I feel its too sticky on rails. I ride at KCW and when I get on our long flat rail I get stuck half way through and get ranked off. I'm coming from a LF PS3 with the grind base which slides SUPER fast, which I like, but I'm not sure I like the company on the rails, which is why I would buy one. I believe company has made a SICK board but I think it needs a slider base on it like LF and Sling to help it slide better. Having said that I love the pop, I love the landings, I love the way it tracks with and without the fins. For the first go around GREAT JOB company.

I thought it had a similar base on it to slingshot boards? Hmmmm guess not. I do know the pain of having a board that feels too sticky on rails, I used an old obrien on rails for a while because I didn't wanna beat up my nice board. After I switched to a Shane LTD I never looked back because of how much better it slid. Now on an 09 slingshot recoil with the durabase and couldn't ask for anything better.

My 07/08 Slingshots felt a little slow on rails, but my 09 is great, same stuff as snowboards, smooth as silk... I think company's stuff has the same base os the 07/08 slingshot (not positive though)

i dunno dude, I ride my Co Super Ltd almost every day at the park, pretty smooth on the rails. I also had the PS3 before so I can compare it to the LF grind stuff and I think its just as good.

TS,

I had the same problem at TSR. It would stick half way up the rail. Wasn't sure if it was cause I am a fatty or not but there were a few others who had the same issue.

It did however land SUPER Smooth on the kickers. It might just have to be a boat board for me.
