Does anyone know if you can ride these on level roads or are they for hills only?

Hills only, you can ride them on level ground once you know what you are doing but it really isn't much fun(you have to carve a lot to maintain speed). It is also pretty difficult to push and get speed going from a dead stop on level ground and almost impossible to do so uphill.

Thanks, I really want one b/c I snowboard and could have a blast on one of those but there aren't a whole lot of hills around where I live.

They are a blast to bomb hills with but like rob said it is fairly difficult to push from a dead start on flat ground. Also it feels more like a snowboard as you speed up.

Rob, did you have trouble at first with riding? I kept thinking longboarding or skateboarding, not snowboarding and it wont ride like a skateboard. I had to get over this mental block and remember snowboarding not skateboarding.

Np3 once you get good though it is a blast. We have this one hill we bomb and its like a mile and a quarter. So much fun. Its funny to watch people look at you funny tryin to figure out what the heck your doing.

Yeah, I'll prob end up getting one but most of the hills around here are really short, there are some steep ones but they don't last too long
