wake advice ?
 

Buddy has a 06 wakesetter 23xti? direct drive and the wake on the driver side of the boat is really much weaker than the other. It has about 1200lbs of ballast and we just got 2 400lb fat sacs. What recommendations can you guys give on getting good wakeboard wakes. Thanks for any and all advice.

if the wake is better on one side it usually means your boat is unbalanced. SOME boats (not all by any means) can become unbalanced at speed from the torque of the engine spinning. Either way you just need to add weight to one side to just balance things out.

What Ben said ^. Further explaination: What are you calling weak? If one side is sort of flat while the other side is peakier, add the weight to the peakier side. It's basicly the same thing you would do if one side is washing out, add weight to the washy side.

Mainly due to the fact that there is more seating available on the port side. Throw a sack in the storage compartment next to the motor.

Rule of thumb... if you see white wash, move people or bags to the side that's washing out.

The driver side is not steep and it is difficult to get any "pop". Thanks all for the advice and keep it coming.

Are you riding with out a spotter? If only the driver is in the boat you will have more weight on that side causing that wake to flatten out. Either add some weight to the passenger side or stand in the middle of the boat while you drive,
