What air compressor are you using on boat?
I bought this thing http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en which turned out to be a POS. I ended up borrowing someone's $ 5.00 compressor which worked way better and moved a heck of a lot more air. Just wondering what other's use? I want one for filling the tube for the kids or just air mattress type toys. I have one of those 11'x14' party islands and it takes a while to say the least. Otherwise I'm considering an inverter so I can hook up a leaf blower or shop vac that can really move some air and fill these things in seconds.

something like this. It's just a blower pump that can also vacuum the air out of the tube.

I have a 60" x 60" 2 person towable tube and it takes a min to fill, its the same kind they use to fill air mattresses. You can get them "marine" rated but they are 2x as much. I store mine in a locking lid plastic container, if it craps out, I spend $10 US more and get another one.

Thanks Fred. That's exactly what I borrowed from another person. Fine for a tube or small mattress but still takes quite a bit of time on the big blow up island.

I use the the Radar Tube Pump and it works awesome. Looks to be the same as the WalMart pump above.

I have an actual air compressor on my boat. It is the type you use for air bags on cars. I have a two gallon tank. I use it for my train horn. But it will also run air tools. Very cool I think.

this thing worked wonders for me. I also had the smaller 1.17 horse model. We could blow up a large 4 man tube or a huge island in just a few minutes
