Ok so I can get air and all the fun stuff. I'm concentrating on holding my edge but I think im not edging correctly. I feel like the edge is skipping on the water and I cant pick up enough speed to clear the wake. I need suggestions before I ride this weekend !!!

not sure, but you may be trying to go balls to the wall on your edge as soon as you set the board on edge. You want to gradually build up the speed on your edge until you reach the peak of the wake and that is where you want to be edging the hardest. Try searching the topic because there are tons of posts on here that may help you in your quest to learn the progressive edge.
