What's the best newer boat (in the last 5 years) for wakesurfing behind that's 21 feet or under?

Which side works best for wakesurfing, and how's the other side?

my 2005 211 is great for goofy... <BR> <BR>they recently changed the prop rotation in 06 or 07 (not sure).

2007-8 Wakecraft 20.5 foot symetrical wake both sides are perfect for surfing.

Guido, relax that pic is stock ballast and only two people in the boat. How often do you surf two at a time with stock ballast or can you? My point being that it doesnt matter which side, goofy or regular. With the same weight on either side the wake is the same shape etc. unlike a lot of other boats I hear about.

I thought the wakesetter VLX was 21'6". The reason I said under 21', is that the lagoon in Carlsbad, where I live, has a 21 foot limit for the yearly city permit, and it's enforced so strictly that one guy literally cut 3" off of the nose of his boat, just so he could get permitted. He used to run the ski school there using that boat, so he really had no choice.

I rode behind a 20' Malibu VTX a couple of weeks ago. This picture isn't the best, but you can get an idea of what this little boat can do. This was with stock ballast, an extra 800-1000 lbs in the rear, and 4 adults in the boat. <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/559019/494983.jpg" alt="Upload">
