ohio to NC possible move, need some info nc folks
 

The wife hates the ohio weather and wants to move to the south and we both like NC. Looking to take a road trip this summer to check some places out. I want to live either on or close to a lake. Any suggestions on a good area? we plan on having kids within the year so schools may be a factor in the decision as well. I know the charlotte are and a few lake such as norman, tilley, and wiley, but looking for a nice semi big lake that does'nt get crazy crowded. Thanks all for any onfo that can be provided.

Not a fan of the weather in the Nati!?! With such great lakes nearby how could you not enjoy it here ;)
