My girlfriend just picked me up a brand new 2011 Marek Bio 141 yesterday. Won't let me see it till Christmas eve...

For 2011 I will rocking the 2011 144 O'brien Decade and the 2011 144 O'brien Paradigm. As for Boots I will be on the 2011 O'brien Format CT Boots.

has anyone bought the 2011 AA boots? it says they come with replaceable interlocking velcro straps this year so i am wondering how they made that possible and if you can replace them yourself or you have to send them back in once the velcro wears out.

Hyperlite b-side 140 with the new system bindings and the webb boot.. Best invention ever. Props to hyp on this for sure.

got some 2011 AA's love them over my 09 cells, nice and firm fitting and the velcro is replaceable. Was quite surprised how tight they actually got with the velcro without having to really pull on them. Would recommend them over the LF Vantages any day.

@Gears, post some pics of your 2011 AAs please... i want to see how the velcro straps are replacable. do you replace them yourself and CWB just sends you new ones, or do you send them into the factory?

I am curious how the AA has replaceable straps too.
I can't tell how they are replaceable on the pics.

Slingshot also has a velcro strap boot with replaceable straps (open toe and not as specific on sizes). I have not seen Slingshot's Option boot in person but i beleive i know how the straps are replaceable looking at the pictures. there are rings on both sides of the straps which to me is a huge clue. but with the AA i don't see anything like that.

It is about time someone brought out replaceable strap systems. we have been asking and suggesting it since the first vantages hit the shelfs

the velcro continues on the inside of the aa's so the strap goes in the side and sticks to the boot on the inside. I have a few mates that rode the 2010 AAs and they never had any problems with the velco wearing out i think the teeth threw the middle are a big help to stoping the velcro wearing out

yeah exactly what damo said, they don't come loose at all either.

For 2011 I'm going to stick with my 09 Cells and 05(?) O'Brien Natural.

But I'm dying to try a Decade!

just put in my order for 2011 140 witness grind and Watson bindings... STOKED. now I have a regular cable board to go with my Watson

Heel and toe lift??? Where is that statement coming from?

from experience. i ride with josh. and his setup has a HUGE amount of toe and heel lift.

Are you riding the 2011 Set-up I have noticed virtually no heel/toe lift on the 2011 Decade boot.\

if Josh is riding 2009 Cell Boots wouldnt that be a Ronix boot issue not an O'brien Board issue?? just saying.

It's the only pic I have of my board, and I chase my dogs around the house with it when I'm bored, it was shipped from Japan by my buddy who is posted there as a souvenir and it's real, not a cheap decoration, No I don't collect swords or read comic books. Anything else you want to know or are you satisfied now that you made your "funny" little comment?

Evan, that's one of few boards those 09 shanes look good on. Nice looking setup.

Thanks Dustin, That's a bad pic with my phone it is super bright in person haha. I got a lot of compliments on it last season, I love the loose feel of the shane's just the right amount of support for me and the watson hybrid is amazing.

can't wait to ride her again soon

Wakeology are making a flex board? Any idea when its set to come out?

i was wondering when the flexboard was coming out. heard a rumor back when (seems like over a year ago, which in that case it has had some good time to experiment with).

Brian ~~ I should have mine at the end of April... The one pictured is the Proto Type I got to play with, haven't rode it yet though.

I'm bored and it's raining..So thought take some flicks and add my new setup for 2011. Its a 2010 Lyman with OT Vantages. Picked it up last month. Thanks for the hookup Austin @ The Liquid Playground.. :D...I'm coming off a 2008 HP Pulse. I've only ridden this bored a few times but man, it just feels right. Too bad Lyman bounced to Slingshot, but oh well.. check it...

I replied earlier about getting a 2011 Marek. Got the Marek and got some 2010 Marek Bindings to go with it. also is my roam I just repainted. Its just for our local winch scene here. Hated the graphics so did my own

Heres my new whip for the 2011 season...

I have board envy. Great thread. Loving this years designs. 2009 and 2010 were super retro hipster, 2011 is back on point for the most part (sans watson)
