Any one have any ideas for storing the spare prop on the boat dont really want to leave it in a cardboard box and I dont want it just floating around one of the lockers waiting to get dinged

I got a OJ prop case with puller and wrench, nice and tidy. I don't keep it on the boat though, leave it in the truck or whatever as you will have to trailer the boat to swap out anyway. Unless you bring scuba gear too.

What type of boat do you have?

Why store it on the boat?

If you have an inboard, changing the prop with the boat in the water is a real bitch! I did it once at Lake Powell because I was 50 miles from the nearest launch facility, but I doubt that most people would have been capable of doing that.

If you have to get back to the trailer to deal with the prop anyway, keep the prop there!
Well, I proved my theory that if you talk about it bad things happen put the new prop on Fri. hit some sunken debri wiped out the prop now no spare
