I have a custom Avy sac in the rear locker and it comes all the way under the port side seats (1500#). Then fill your center ballast. If you have 5 or 6 adults or a gaggle of kids this may be enough weight for a solid recreational wave. If you want a competition level wave throw a 400# sac on the rear seat toward the surf side and then tie a fat brick (155#) on the swim deck. You may want to add a couple hundred pounds in the bow or have a couple hotties sit up there as bow candy. Speed between 10.7 to 11.2 on GPS. Epic wave. If you don't want to go custom sacs then order the jumbo sac (1100#) for the locker and then a tube sac to fit under the side seat. |
That wave looks like fun. :-)

Custom sacs, plus a 250 under the bow seat surf side, plus a 150 on the swim deck. Great big wave!

someday i want that wave.... :(

I upgraded. My new tige 24v wave is bigger and better!:) The avalanche wave is a great wave though
|
1500 lb custom sac, 230lbs lead in back corner under the sac, 275 lb sac on the surf side seat,250 lb center ballast full, plus 3-4 people (get the rubrail under water about 2 inches) all this will equal one awesome wave! Duffy I don't see how the 24v could throw a better wave then your Avy, Your Avy wave looks so much cleaner. But, yes I am a little biased opinion LOL

The 24v wave is taller, longer and amazing push. I am running way more weight though. Plus I don't even have the rub rail under water! So I feel like it's safer.

That sure would make my wife feel safer. She still gets qweezy. Do you still have the Avy?

thanks guys. pretty sure my buddies been over weighting his avy with even weight and not slamming back corner surf side
