Is anyone here running a McClain or something similar with your inboard? I'm considering getting one for the Supra with the salty conditions.

Post pics

I have a cousin with a featherlite aluminum boat trailer and it’s beautiful. At the same time its major coin. 882001's way is the most cost effective though. Got to remember even with aluminum it will oxidize so rinse it off when you get home.

My buddy has a Mcclain. The previous owner hit a parking curb and bent a cross member. Now the boat sits funny because the cross member holds the bunks. His brakes and electrical lines are also garbage. I wouldn't say any of this is Mcclains issue. Just a bad previous owner. Personally, I don't like alluminum trailers, but if you need it, there isn't anything you can do.

(Message edited by 266crownlinebr on May 06, 2008)
