Got to try out my custom surf sac for the first time today. It is 30x30x30 and some where around 1100#'s. Fit perfect behind the driver seat and was a good wave but I want better. Any suggestion for a little bit longer? It is pleanty tall and I could get about 10' from the boat before I would lose it. Am I asking to much? '97 VLX 440 in bow, 750 in engine compartment, 440 on back bench seat, 1100 sac on floor and about 400 in the ski locker all on the surf side.

It sounds like you have a ton of weight all in the very back. The only thing I can suggest is more weight up front... although I'm sure you'd only want to be driving in glass conditions with no other pullers around, if you did that.

The back corner of the boat is actually 10"-12" above the water. I was not to concerned with taking on water but another loaded wake boat in the area would make things interesting. I was thinking of either taking the 440 on the seat and moving it on top of the ski locker or just emptying the ski locker. Kind of opposite ideas but I want to find the best wave I can get out of this boat.

i would bump the speed up first to make it longer,if that didnt work i would put a lil weight up front on the side you were surfing

I think the most I've put up front is somewhere around 600lbs. I'll sink the back tons, but I've always been a little hesitant to throw down the front. Can turn into a swimming pool up front pretty quick some days.

Nice fit on those sacks back there, you are definitely running out of room. You will need a bigger boat soon. If you need another spotter, I'm always game!

Derek, I sent you a pm yesterday but don't know if you got it. If your number is still the same 602 xxx-xxxx I will give you a call late in the week. You'll have to show me a thing or two.

Yeah, I've got the same number... I should be around. Been so long, not sure if I remember how to stand on a board!

Do you have the wedge on that boat. If so try using it. If you want more length to the wake you need to take weight off the stern or add weight to the bow. I have a 2005 V Ride which I believe is the same hull as yours. I run 500 in bow 500 midship 500 in rear compartment and 500 on seat along the side and 150 brick tied to pylon halfway leaning over the gunnel for help with listing the boat plus the wedge. It looks like you have more than enough weight, but if your gunnels are 10-12" from the water then there isn't enough list to the boat. Rub rail on the back corner while at rest should just about touch the water. If you don't have a fat brick to lean over the side take the 440 on the rear seat and let out 1/4 or 1/3 of the water and hang the bag over the gunnel. Makes sure you have more weight in the boat then out and strap the bag down so it won't fall out. Listing that boat helps clean up the face of the wake especially on the Darkside and lengthens the pocket.

Nick who did you contact to get your custom fat sacks for your boat. I am thinking of putting a custom sack in the front bow ( ski locker) Of my nautiqui 211. Does any buddy have some good suggestions. New to wake surfing.

I don't have a wedge on the boat. I will try moving the 440 on the back bench seat around a little and see what happens. Ty, I just got the number off of their website fatsac.com and called them up.
