Looking for a very light forgiving board with some pop. I'm 150lbs 5'10 so probably around a 136? I'm just about going W2W at 75' and 23mph, I do grabs fine just don't clear the wake. Currently riding an 07' Faction 138 that just doesn't fit my riding style.

Try flex out if you have not
Slingshot (Recoil and or Response) boards are very light. the flex is fun to play around with, gives great pop and exquisitely soft landings because of the flex.

other than slingshot, you might try a platinum version of any of the CWB boards, those are light

i would really not recommend flex to someone just learning wake to wake. just learning to get the pop from a flex board is hard enough. Ben Greenwoods old pro model from liquid force is a nice light board with a lot of pop and it pretty forgiving. its called the omega i think. i know several people with it that are happy. thats what i would recommend. oh and put the next size smaller fins on it so its not so locked in.

what few (about 6) people (beginner-intermediate) i have put on my slingshot, have all loved it and learned something from it. one even bought his own.
I used to think that slingshot and flexboards were not for beginners, but i no longer think that.

definitely demo before riding (as is always stated arround here) and if you cant demo, then be as sure as you can of the boards features and descriptions matching what you believe you want
