Best version of GoPro for wakeboarding

I'm looking at buying the GoPro2. Just curious opinions on which edition (Surf, Outdoor) is best for capturing and filming wakeboarding. I am sure I will use it for other activities (e.g. snowboarding), but the primary focus will be wakeboarding. Better to film from the board, or mounted to the chest or helmet?

I would go with the surf, but honestly it doesn't really matter. Helmet cams are great for snow (i spend a lot of time with these cameras as i instruct at a local resort in the winter), but the best shots to be had on wake are involving an intertube with a friend riding on it while you ride videoing. or a friend boarding a little in front or behind videoing. just my two cents though:rolleyes:

Have you considered the Motorsports Hero2? It provides curved and flat stick-on mounts for helmets and a suction cup mount instead of the helmet strap and headband mounts that come with the Outdoor package. The helmet strap and headband mounts are not stable or secure so in my opinion the Motorsports package gives you a better variety and more mounts that you can use for water sports. I recently purchased the Motorsports Hero2 from Amazon for $259, replacing my HD Hero that I paid $300 for two years ago.

Thanks for the feedback. Motorsports might be the way to go. I could always buy a board adapter to get the surf view anyway. Thanks guys.
