I will be riding contests next year and want to know if I should ride beginner or intermediate. I can go wake to wake toeside and heelside, 180 toeside, grabs, and will probably be doing hs 180s and possibly hs or ts 360s by then.

Intermediate

if no 360s what would I be in? I may do a comp soon if there is any?

180's and grabs, you will still ride in intermediate. Most guys in that class are just doing 180, if you can try to grab all your 180's. Sometimes you will see a 3 or a BR at the end of a run. Good luck!

the last contest i rode in novice was 1 spin or invert and intermediate was 3 spins or inverts, the people in novice were way better i think they were all sand bagging

Wow, novice allowed an invert?? That will get you bumped up in most events.

It really depends on the tourney and most will post best tricks allowed or max spins / inverts for each division and generally to get on the podium you will need to be near the max. The intermediate class will often have the most riders. Unless you are gunning for a top spot in outlaw, don't sweat the competition too much. Tourneys are about meeting other riders and having fun.

Entrust, what comp was that at? Ive actually never seen an invert thrown at any novice competition.
