have a question about rails & kickers etc...

Are most of the rails and kickers out there on a solid foundation or do most of them float?? I'd like to make a kicker for at my lake this summer and it would have to be a floater.... does anyone have pics of a kicker or rail and how they are built to be stable on the water??

thanks

I think you see more floating kickers and solid rails

I work at mccormicks cable down here in Tampa and I can tell you most kickers float especially in cable so you can move your obstacles around to keep them fresh. www.skimccormick.com has pictures except our new kicker which you can see in this video http://www.vimeo.com/18028942. We use 4 anchors to keep the weighted down and marine grade foam billets to keep them afloat! Hope that helps :)
