I tore up my prop yesterday and need a new one. I will get the old prop repaired and use it for a backup. I'm looking for more hole shot, and the prop that was on there was an OJ 14x18. Someone mentioned skiertoskier has the best price for a new prop. Does anyone have the same boat as mine, and if so what prop brand and size is your upgrade.

paul, were you and i discussing this recently over on moomba.com?

14.25 X 14 again.

fix the other and keep it as a back up.

Yes we were at that time my prop was functional I hit a log yesterday. I just wanted to be 100% sure that was the right prop someone else said that prop would not work for my boat. It sounds like he was wrong.

i spoke with one of the higher ups at skier's choice about this prop and he highly advised using it. now i do have it on my ssv 22 but i know it will work wonders on your lsv.

db

What's the shaft size for my boat, and what cup dimensions should I get. I'm ordering it now and have to make a choice, and I'm not sure.

1 1/8th. just order the left hand prop in the 14.25 X 14 and "maybe" get a prop puller.

got mine from skidim.

db

Very important if you want to sac it at all..get the OJ 14.25 X 14. You will see this advice all over the discussion board. I just changed mine and WOW!

There's different choices with the cup they are
.110 standard
.070 to raise rpms
.090 to raise rpms
.120 to lower
I have no idea which one.

from my discussion w/ Karl @ boarditup:
the cup can increase speed at high rpms. still moves the water a shorter distance. but as RPMs increase, moves slightly more. higher cup is ideal for ppl running weight but still needing top end.

I ordered it with .110 standard cup, skiertoskier $430.00 shipped. I leave the 15th for Alabama I hope it's here in time for my trip. I tried to get someone on the phone no answer. I'll call tomorrow and pay to have it expedited. Thanks for the help it sounds like this is the prop of choice for what I need.

I wouldn't even bother expediting the order. I got mine in 3 days from them.
