Weighting 2005 X-Star

I am interested in upgrading the stock ballast on my X_Star. I've seen the Fly High mentioned but I want to ensure the stock pumps fill the added ballast and I've seen several references to timers that make me nervous. Can someone please help clarify this process for me and what I need to buy to be complete?

your boat does not have timers
get about 60 feet if 1" ID reinforced hose and what ever size fly high sacs but no longer than 45"
you can plumb in at the stock tanks overflow vent to the sacs then from the sacs overflow back out through the boats overflow port as the original vent lines had
I'd make sure the overflow lines from the sac are run up high as possible just under the top deck to insure proper venting

Very good advice! So the piggy back systems work just like my stock system once they are installed? Thank you very much by the way

just as if it was stock, some people like to bypass the port and starboard tanks but I left mine in the system, weight is weight more the better
you can start off with 400# in each rear locker and a 400# in the walkway
