heater craft?

im in need of a core replacement for the 300h heater, thoughts on where to get one cheap.

Take the core to an auto parts store and see if they can match you one up. Or take it to a radiator shop and see if they have one or can fix yours.

I have the three vent Heatercraft unit and the core is out of 79-84 Ford Van with no AC, part number FM 9025. A heater core out of a '79 Ford LTD is also very close, but not exact.

Here is a picture of it, is this the right one for your unit?

yea but my core is about 16" long how long is that core you got?

Bring it to a radiator shop. I'm sure they can fix it. Probably cheaper than a replacement.

i would but mine was swelled up when i got the boat. i called heater craft but they want 150 seeing that i have to buy a new box to fit the core into, anyone know what the diff. is in the new cores that they wont fit in the old boxes, may just have to go that route.

I put one from a 64 Ford Futura in a heatercraft unit once....fit really well.

Mine looks exactly like that - Last year, I took it to a local auto parts store and they had one in stock for about $60
