LF Trip 146 or Ronix Vault 144
looking at these 2 boards currently both 2011 models. Trip is 200 and comes with a pair of index's. Vault is 180 comes with nothing. I have 3 main riders in my crew including me and we are all 6'4 or larger and 215-230 in weight. What do you guys think. We are all learning. Trying to get pop going W2W, simple 180s, trying to learn to ride switch, etc.

If you want "pop" forget the trip

I would go with the Vault. It is a great beginner/intermediate board. It has a different shaped toe edge rail which is designed to help get the rider into a better position for learnign toe side airs. One thing to consider with the Vault though is you may want to put the bindings in a nuetral position back to front because if you have any goofy riders they will need to ride the board backwards(only matters for graphics) instead of switching the bindings around.

Alright the Vault it is. Thanks guys.

Just took the Vault out today. Could not have been happier. Finally a board that supports my weight. Like night and day over the hyperlite premier I used to ride. And unlike the Trip 143 i was borrowing from a buddy, the Vault stays under me really well i dont have to worry about falling as much because its so much more stable.
