changing v-drive oil, and tranny fluid

What is everybody running in their boats??

I use ATF in the transmission and straight 30w in the v-drive, however my tranny and v-drive are separate. If yours is all in one, just regular ATF unless your manual calls for something else.

Get a MITYVAC 7201 fluid evacuator and refiller. It's the bomb!

how long should you go between fluid changes in the v drive and tranny?

I use Dexron 4 (or what ever the highest ATF number) in my 2004 Malibu VLX transmission and 30W in my Walters v drive

I change my Tranny/v drive fluid every time I change my engines oil. So every 50 hours
