Killed my knee tonight landing a tantrum. Not the first time, but this was definately the worst. I'm hopeing its nothing serious, but i think its time for a knee brace while boarding.

How is it to ride with them?
Where can i get one and for how much?

thanks

I personally hate having to ride with mine.

Donjoy Defiance, around 800-1500 depending on who's paying for it.

CTi2 Vapor. If you can get a prescription, it only costs your deductible depending on your insurance company. Just going and getting one made costs $850. I use the Vapor and for a knee brace, it's really good. It's not too restrictive and is very light. Plus after having ACL reconstruction and 9 months of rehab, I like having the added confidence that my knee brace gives me. I think mine is more of a mental thing now, as I made sure my injured knee and leg were at 100% strength before even getting on a board again. No brace will prevent all injuries and nothing beats strong and flexible legs, but I like the Vapor.

Andrew
