Seriously that gets me amped seeing guys older then myself getting all that air and doing kewl tricks. I only just started but I really want to get good at this, my goals for next summer are wake to wake, maybe some grabs and 180's. You guys are an inspiration. <BR>

wakeme884 11-30-2004 8:13 PM

OLD GUYS RULE!!!!!!!! just hit 53-some people would call wakeboarding a midlife crisis-I call it a midlife awakening.....

poser007 11-30-2004 8:34 PM

I need to post a pic of myself on here. It's funny, I always think Im getting this huge air, but then when I ask my wife how high I got, she shows me about 3 inches with her fingers. Funny thing is she isnt joking. Im bringing a camera next time, I'll probabbly be shocked at how low I am.

buzz_grande 12-01-2004 10:56 AM

46 and holding. Heck, I have a 24yo daughter and 17yo son. My crew is mostly 20's and 30's, with a couple exceptions (other old farts like me!). I try to keep up with them. That is probably why I get hurt once in a while. Only as old as you feel? Well, somedays I feel old, some I don't. Got my new 05 VLX on order. Better get into shape now that I am getting a real wakeboard boat.

wake_junkie247 12-01-2004 11:13 AM

rico80 12-01-2004 11:18 AM

Two years ago my dad spent a week at Hansen's Wakeboard camp for his 50th Birthday. We took 15 sets in 5 days and he never missed a one, even though the majority of our group had to b/c they were too sore by Wednesday.

aram 12-02-2004 9:50 PM

31. I've been skateboarding since I was 13 but pretty much just the longboard for the last few years. My six year old son is getting into skateboarding now so Pop has to show him a few tricks now and then at the skate park. Buying him and my 12 year old daughter wakeboards for Christmas though so we'll expand the repertoire a bit.
