Does anybody know if the new Skylon Rubicon's has a quick release option? Or can they be unscrewed from the tower while leaving the tower mounts on it? <BR>Planning to keep the boat on the lift but would like to make the boat a little less interesting for some uninvited people....

Tommy, I don't think so. <BR> <BR>I used to own a pair of NVS's and the fact that wetsounds offered a quick release played a big role in swithching. I keep my boat on a lift year round too. If you search you cna find some DIY quick release bracket designs that may work?

The 07 Rubicons will be quick release. I talked to those guys a few weeks ago and the 07's are in production and they are quick release. Call them up.

will the quick release be able to retrofit to the 06's?

How well does the quick release work from Monster Tower. I like the dubbel barrels, but dislike the single tower attachment. It looks not really sturdy.
