The new WBM has a shot of the new Plat <BR>Absolute. That's the only new one I've seen besides the Transcend.

Why does everyone try and compare a new board to an old board of a differant brand? It has a much larger spine down the back and longer molded fins then last years, but what it looks like is the 05 135 Absolute.

I saw the 05 PLatinum. It has like a see-through top to the fabric. Pretty cool.

At wakestock they had all the 05's the pure is wat was now the freedom, flame 134 and 140 are the 04 absolutes and they look really nce!

hey Leo i can see why you said that ,that was my first thought as well..looks like the HL era,03 premier,RGGator etc etc..its a proven bottom and i think it may be the best Absolute yet,,i hope its stays with one bottom more then one year,seems like the absolute has chnaged every year the last four years...

I've seen them all and ridden a few. Your suspicions are correct, some of the best graphics ever laid onto ANY board are in the 05 lineup (IMO). <BR> <BR>This is of course in addition to the awesome yet subtle changes made to the boards. <BR> <BR>05 Bindings are looking pretty sweet too. <BR> <BR>I've said enough - two weeks won't kill you.

Not to rain on the '05s, but can anyone talk to when and how much this effects '04 and even '03 pricing? I wanted the '04 Flame with Torqs, and if they were in stock anywhere, they'd be around $399 right now. Saw the Pure with Torqs down around $329. I'd expect them to drop further here pretty soon, but wonder how much and when? <BR> <BR>I can wait until the winter if it'll save me a hundred bucks or let me get a Platinum, or Zues' instead of Torqs, or... <BR> <BR>Not real concerned whether I get the '03 Absolute, or the '04 Flame (pretty much '03 Absolute), or the '04 Absolute, or the '05 Flame (almost an '04 Absolute?). I like the looks of the '03 and '04 Absolutes and don't like the fact that the '04 Flame supposedly dropped some rocker off the '03 Absolute. Derek ~ Check out Chick's in West Covina. They are having a tent sale right now and I saw a Flame w/ Torqs for under $300. I don't know if it's still there but I saw it when I got my new 04 141 Absolute for $239
