I was trying to plan out our stops this summer. I have not been able to find out about the BTB Festival in Chattanooga for this year. Is there anyone who can tell me if they are going to have it and what dates? Thanks.

We usually go...I'm not sure any info on this years event though...I'll scratch around and try to find something out.

There will not be a BTB Festival this year, Friends of the Festival took over last year and it didn't make enough money for their time.

Make enough money? Someone told me - If you try to make money in this sport, you will fail. If you dont try to make money, you will. <BR> <BR>If I do it for y'all will you help? I need 4 judges who will not ride outlaw that can judge outlaw.

Friends of the Festival is a Promotion Company that plans and organizes the River Bend Festival in Chattanooga. BTB was the first time they tried to include sporting events with a festival. Everything else they do is music and food/vending. They only have interest in making money, no desire to make wakeboarding grow.

And I will never support anything Friends of the Festival does in this town from now on.

Why do you guys need someone else to put something on? If you all want to have a festival put it on yourselves. Use the web to promote it and word of mouth. Maybe get some local bands whatever. Even if only 20-40 boats show so what. Be creative. You never know until you try.
