A couple questions.

First, I have a pair of Kicker 600m speakers hooked up to 1 channel of my amp and another pair of the same speakers hooked up to another channel. The third and fourth channels are currently bridged to a sub. I'm freeing up the other two channels by adding another amp just for the sub. What difference will it make, if any, to put each of the four speakers on it's own channel?

Amp - Kicker KX300.4
38w X 4 at 4 ohms
75w X 4 at 2 ohms

Speakers - Kicker Impulse 600m
65w RMS, 4 ohms

Second question.

I built a sub box that will not be visible. Should I carpet it or just leave it primed?

Thanks, Tim

Run a high pass filter on the 4 channel amp and you can dial in the gains just right since the speakers are alone and don't have to battle for power with the sub. IMO You'll sub will do better with a dedicated amp.
