This is so upsetting. It's hard watching things like this happen to young kids. My condolences to her family and friends. Please be careful everybody! It's hot as He... and don't be swimming around in shallows stirring up the ground! (yes i know easier said than done) but watch the lil ones.

I hate this. I just did some more research and found out that the amoeba can enter through the eyes and ears as well as the nose. I've heard of people wearing nose plugs to avoid infection, but it doesn't sound like that would be very effective. I'm glad I'm out of Florida for the month. Please stay safe everyone!
