Big tree fall hard......
My 6-5 340 lb buddy came in from Alaska and wanted to learn how to wakeboard. Got him riding pretty steadily but this happened in the process!

Ouch! Pretty funny and the title of your thread is funny too.
|
Pefrectly illustrates why you should keep your arms straight!!
Not sure I've ever seen a guy that big get on the water. Props! |
How fast did you have him going? Looked fast...
|
You can see it come with the sliding to the right. Got to be tough getting your hips pointing the correct direction when you are that large and just starting.
Not sure but did he have a clue about "catching a front edge" before this? When he is fully facing the front he seems quite happy trying to ride it out. |
Yeah he knew. I wasn't goin fast but I slowed down too quick and he pulled the handle in
He kept going though. Guy loved it ! |
Yep. Keep the speed consistent and tell him to drop his back hand once he's up. Dropping that back hand will force him to ride sideways and prevent face plants.
|
Wow, I know it's a struggle to get big beginners up, and that is a big boy! Rockin' faceplant - we love those with beginners it always gets a huge laugh from everyone else.
First rule of wakeboarding: it's ok to laugh at the wipeouts. |
That is awesome!!
|
His life vest is looking a little tight haha I love it! Representing for the big boys!
