What are the best boots out there?
Anything CWB! Best footbeds, and a wide range of styles..
liquid force...shanes in particular.
LF Shane great <BR>Ronix One (09) great <BR>Slingshot D2/D3 great
I tried the shane's. But my preference is a little tighter/stiffer feel. I went with the watson's. its all in personal preference..
It is all personal preference, so go into your local shop and try a bunch on, but I personally think the 09 Ones are the best thing since sliced bread, and I really like sliced bread.
^^^^^ +1 on the 09 ones. amazing boot!!!!
+2 '09 Watson's
Gonzalez Ct The Sh*t
+1 for shanes
I've ridden a ton of boots and I think the Slingshot D2's are by far the best.
Slingshot for sure, I personally like the PB Floyds better than the D2 but have owned both.
09 watsons

09 Ones, freaking awesome.
09 Cells, if you like a stiff boot doesn't get any better!
LF Shanes...still on the 07's cause I love them so much! I am sure the new model is just as comfy.

is there a big difference between the 09 and 08 ronix ones?
I'm pretty sure the 09 ronix ones are new and improved
yea the 09s have a baseless bottom, which makes them a lot lighter
D2, Watson
what ever keeps your feet and board together, just ride!
cwb answer.
True, the 09 One's have virtually no baseplate. I just got a pair and weighed them to see how they compaired to my 06 Murrays. Here are the results: <BR> <BR>'06 Murray's, Size L <BR> <BR>One binding weighed 3 lbs .01 oz, and the other weighed 3 lbs exactly. <BR> <BR>'09 One's, Size 9 <BR> <BR>One binding weighed 1 lbs 15.7 oz and the other weighed 2 lbs .01 oz. <BR> <BR> <BR>This did not include the mounting hardware.
Bindings are very subjective...whatever works for you and makes you confident...but from a safety perspective... Slingshots all the way for me. <BR> <BR>I tore up my ankle in a CWB Faction. Those thick spongy footbeds are murder. All that mush creates space for your foot to move down/displace. When it moves down...it loosens everything up...and bam...torn up ankle (serious everson sprain...any worse and I would have broken it). Never again. <BR> <BR>The Slingshots have 7 different size. The inner liner comes out. It is made like a snowboard boot. I like them because I can run the inner liner tight to support my spagetti ankles, but run the outer housing a tad loose. If I really yard-sale it...I come out with the liners still on my feet.
Lots of great bindings out, go try some on and see what fits you best.
'07 Gator Saints. First bindings I've had that lasted 2 seasons without any ripping, and I've been riding for 15 years. Hands down best footbed I've ever had. I'm not getting new bindings until they disintegrate. I think <a href="http://www.the-house.com" target="_blank">www.the-house.com</a> still has some in stock.
