Noob to wakeworld here. This is my first post. I have been surfing my X2 all summer so far but I want to go bigger. I am running a 750lb in the rear port corner and a 400lb in the ski locker right now. We usually have about 4 people in the boat on the port side. Anyone know where I should put more weight? I have read that the 205V likes 150-200lbs up front to make the trough a bit longer. I am also going to throw another sac under the port side bench; maybe 400lbs. Anyone else have any suggestions aside from a new boat? Also, I am going to re-prop soon. What prop is best for surf speed? I am running stock right now.
Thanks

I've got a 1999 X-Star and get a decent wave with 600ish in the rear locker bag (port), 400ish bag in the floor on the port side and then 5+ people stacked on the port side and on the rear pad.

here is the wave from this past saturday

we tried this weekend not much luck. Do you guys do much of a turn to the left or port when surfing. We had LOTS of weight in the boat. There was a nice pocket but really short.
|
how fast were you going. try to add more weight to the bow if your pocket is too short and you like the speed

MC Team Talk now has a wakesurf forum. May find some help there.
