Are you guys all wiring 6 wires up your towers for all 6+ speakers or can you parallel them at the tower and only run a few wires up? If so, what guage?

I am running 12 gauge for four speakers wire in parallel as two pair. I did this to get a 2 ohm load for my amp. You have to be careful wiring things in parrallel and series because you change the load(ohms).

OK you can do it by running 2 sets up speaker wires. You need to divied it up into 2 sets of 3 speakers. 2 speakers in series (4ohm+4ohm=8ohm) and then the other speaker in series with the others (8ohm in series with a 4ohm speaker =2.6 ohm load perside. so as long as you have a 2 ohm stable amp it would be 2.6 a side. clear as MUD!! <BR> <BR>later

Three 4 ohm speakers in parallel is 1.33 ohms, if your amp can handle the load run it otherwise you will have to do some kind of combination. <BR> <BR>parallel: Rt=1/(1/R1+1/R2+1/R3) <BR>Series: Rt=R1+R2+R3 <BR> <BR>Three is a tough number to work with.

Sorry I typed it wrong 2 series and one parallel <BR>that is an 8ohm (2 series) and one parallel (4 ohm) all =2.66 ohm
