HI guys!

I was just wondering.... is it possible for a grown man to ride a kid's board?

Thing is, I'm debating which board to get:

1. LF '04 Evo 134 or
2. LF '04 Nemesis 131

Both are with LF '03 Exo Bindings

My problem is that I've read both reviews of the boards posted on the main site and based on those reviews, I'm leaning towards the Nemesis. Obviously, the Nemesis has a weight limit of 150-155 lbs (if I'm not mistaken). But I weigh a 165 lbs. So the questions stands....Can I ride the Nemesis?

Why do you want to ride a kids board? There are lots of boards for us grown up people.
Why not take a look at the substance 134? If I were you I'd ride a 138 or something like that.

(Message edited by kristian on February 09, 2005)

I'm actually on a budget that's why

These are 2nd hand boards and the only ones that are available at the moment (where I'm from: Philippines)

Ebay!

ahh I see. Well I'd go with the 134. The Evo is a good board.

thanks for the advice kristian! greatly appreciated

clay: I can't afford to buy on ebay because some people don't ship here and if they do, the shipping cost alone could be worth half of the board itself

I'm 5-8, 155lbs and can ride a Motive 128 with no problem. However I prefer a 134.
|
Well then go with the EVO. I ride the 138 and it is a great board to learn and advance on.

I'm 5-11, 165, and rode my buddys blindside five-0, i think 131, and it threw me better than my drifter 136. I'd say if you're getting them second hand you shouldn't have much of a problem demo-ing them, so I'd try them both out.

Id go for the 134..i used to ride a belmont 134 for two years and i weighed 160 at the time..ive since moved on too bigger boards since i like the softer landings etc but 134 would do you just fine..as a matter of fact the other day i got off work early and unexpectantly was offered a pull but i didnt have my gear with me and ended up riding a 04 absolute 134 with no center fins on a choppy day and satill was able to land all my tricks..it felt weird but i had no problems with it...

I wouldnt buy something that i am already grown out of by the time it ends up on my door i would wait and save up a lil more to get something that will fit you and somehting like you want! I'm 165 and ride a 135 era

I'm about 180ish....and I ride a 136 Obrien option board.....I actually like having a slightly smaller board.....plus I love how the board rides.....as long as you are close to the weight the actual preference of the board is more important. Good luck!
